Terms, Conditions & Data Privacy
The deadline for application is 11:59 pm CEST on Monday 8 August 2022. To guarantee fair conditions for everyone, we cannot accept any application that reaches us after 8 August 2022, no matter how it was transmitted.
To ensure a good working and learning environment for our participants, we will only be able to accept 30 applicants for the Autumn Research School. The organizing committee will decide based on the quality of applications and inform you about their decision until 15 August 2022. The committee will endeavour to achieve a balance of topic areas, disciplines and participants from different continents.
Application is only possible via the online application form. In the application form, you will be requested to enter general information regarding your name, address, position, affiliation and university education and nationality. You will be asked to submit a short CV, a letter of motivation and to upload an academic CV. This information is needed to judge the applications and decide on a list of participants, as well as to contact you about the decision.
Data Privacy
The information you share with us through the application form on this website will be stored on the University Bremen server and only be accessible to members of the organizing committee. The information will only be used for means of choosing participants, preparation and organisation of the Autumn School 2022.
The University of Bremen takes data privacy very seriously (see Data Policy of University of Bremen). We will treat your data confidentially and according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you are not chosen as a participant or decide to withdraw your application or participation, your information will be deleted within one month of notification. If you become a participant, will we delete your information one month after completion of the autumn school.
By accepting these terms, conditions and data privacy regulations, you consent to your information given in the application form (name, email and postal address, position, affiliation and university education, nationality, CV, a letter of motivation) are stored and used as explained above.
