Fees and Travel Costs
Due to generous funding by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) participants will not have to pay fees or costs for accommodation. Participants can apply for financial support in form of a refund of travel costs according to DAAD rates for travel allowances. Please, do not hesitate to inform us if you would like to apply for financial support for travel costs. Please, note that the number of travel allowances given are limited. Travel allowances will be granted depending on the number of applicable candidates and available funds. Unfortunately, participants based in Germany are not applicable for this funding. Double financing is not accepted. As funding will be granted according to the DAAD rates for travel allowances, the refund might only partially cover your travel costs. Unfortunately, YISARES 2020 does not cover any costs in connection with your visa application. Should after receiving your letter of acceptance for any reason you decide not to participate in the Autumn School or be forced to cancel, you must inform the organizers at least one week in advance, so that we can cancel your hotel reservation.
Visas and Travel
All participants are responsible for their own travel bookings, travel insurance and visa applications. Participants are asked to apply for their visas in due time. The organizers will provide participants with a formal letter of acceptance to the Autumn School. It cannot, however, guarantee a successful application.
